Commenting on the Awards, Karen Dee (AOA Chief Executive) said:

“The AOA Awards showcase the sector’s vibrant and innovative work that is globally leading. The Awards were a sample of that best-in-kind work, from improving aviation’s sustainability to continuously improving our passengers’ experience of airports and aviation.

“A special mention goes to the winners of the UK Airports Safety Week Awards for their excellent initiatives and campaigns during AOA UK Airports Safety Week 2019. UK Airports Safety Week is our annual campaign to demonstrate how airports to provide a world-class safety environment for passengers and it is great to celebrate the very best of that week at the AOA Annual Awards.
